The Opportunity:

 

As a Payroll Analyst, you will support the US payroll processes, and manage the processing of monthly Canada payroll end to end under the direction of the Payroll manager.  You will use reports to complete audits, preform reconciliations to validate data accuracy while working closely with our Finance and Human Capital partners to coordinate resources. Using your experience, you will review processes and make recommendations to increase efficiency and ensure quality. You will also partner closely with team members in corporate finance and human capital to maintain standards and consistency across the firm.

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Support the administration and compliance of the semi-monthly payroll for multi-state operations and monthly Canadian Payroll
  • Maintain employee records, including voluntary and involuntary deductions
  • Audit, analyze and identify inconsistencies between HR and Payroll systems
  • Prepare payroll and ad hoc reports
  • Identify opportunities and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure quality
  • Establish and maintain written procedures documenting compliance and processes
  • Provide excellent customer service

Your Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of payroll experience
  • 2+ years of experience in UKG Payroll software and Workday
  • Canadian payroll experience

Compensation:

  • $80,000 - $100,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
