What You Will Be Doing

How You Will Do It
- Act as the direct contact for small group outings from inquiry, to booking, to execution
- Serve as the primary contact for large group outings once the contract has been finalized and provided by the Sales Executive.
- Execute and lead plans to support small group business including phone calls, order taking, etc.
- Process contracts and necessary paperwork for the Group Sales Department and provide accurate reporting on a weekly basis including detail sheets, room pick-up reports, and payment status.
- Provide constant communication between other departments
- Maintain accuracy on room numbers and ticket orders for print and distribution to clients
- Work closely with Group Sales, Front Desk, Food & Beverage and all other departments to coordinate group visit details and plans.
- Interact with Guests at events to ensure a quality experience.
- General office duties such as copying, filing, faxing and general correspondence.
- Assist with other areas of the Front Desk department as needed.
- Operate the Front Desk system to make reservations, post payment and revenue transactions, perform assigned system functions, and check guests in and out
- Answer telephone calls from internal and external guests/customers as well as inter-departmental calls.
- Compliance with communication protocols for telephone and email
- To adhere to PCI compliance procedures
What You Will Need
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Multi – task oriented and a self-starter.
- The ability to work flexible hours; Weekends are required.
- Commitment to providing world class service to internal and external guests.
- Computer experience including; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Opera software preferred
- Prior guest services experience required
- Should have an enthusiastic and service-oriented attitude
