Our client, is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Current Certification in IPC Soldering standards including 7711/7721/ J-STD, and J-STD Space Applications which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
• Follow ESD safe protoclos and safe handling techniques when handling sensative assemblies.
• Perform Circuit Board inspection, circuit rework/modification, cable harness, fabrication, electronic box assembly, and electrical signal measurement.
• Assemble F/A First Article Electronic test racks, Test fixtures, and associated wiring.
• Perform First Article conformal coat/staking inspections and document deviations.Â
• Review pre-release work instructions and make the recommendations for improved work definition.

What’s Needed?
• 5+ years experience in PCBA modification, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing for Aerospace.
• Experience in PCBA rework, including hand soldering of electronic components and reading schedmatics.
• Experience in common electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, etc.)
• Experience supporting the developement of Space Based systems.
• Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing
