Job Title: Data engineer
Location: Local to Richardson, but possible to be local to Houston (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $60/hr on w2
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Assignment Duration: hybrid: 3 days in office minimum with potential change to full time in office
This role is for a data engineer with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days in-office in Richardson, TX, with potential for a shift to full-time in-office or local placement in Houston. The assignment duration is 1 year, with the possibility of converting to a full-time position. The candidate will be responsible for creating pipelines, aggregating data, resolving data issues, attending team meetings, quantifying tasks, and validating data.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 5-10 years in data engineering
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SnapLogic, Snowflake, MuleSoft, and Azure
- Essential Traits: Exceptional attention to detail ("eagle eye"), proactive mindset, and clear communication skills
- Additional Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, open communication, and a "go-getter" attitude
Interview Process: Four rounds (1 team interview, 2 technical interviews, and a final interview), all conducted virtually. Candidates must have top-tier communication skills, availability, and clarity about their data engineering expertise.
