Our client is seeking a HVAC Design Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and experience in HVAC system design experience which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer (1-Year Contract)

Location: Richland, WA

Pay Range: $37.00-$79.00 Hourly DOE (See Requirements below)

 

What’s the Job?
Level 1
• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard mechanical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgement in making adaptations and modifications.

• Participate in the design, development and modification of mechanical components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDP's), design standards and guides.

• Prepares conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.

Level 2
• Evaluates small size project or assignment in support of a global business unitor staff group to include the preparation of original design layouts, details, drawings and specifications.

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate mechanical components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDP's), design standard guides.

• Prepare mechanical engineering reports for clients as required.

• Completes mechanical documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

 

What’s Needed?
Level 1

• Requires a bachelors degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

Level 2
• Requires a bachelors degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

• Requires a Professional Engineers License (PE)

• Experience in producing HVAC load calculations, ductwork design and equipment selection for nuclear HVAC systems.

• Knowledge of ASME AG-1, ASHRAE, SMACNA standards, and experience with DOE Nuclear Cleaning handbook and guides.

• Must have right to work in United States without need of Sponsorship.
