Our client, a leading engineering and construction company, is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join their team. This position requires expertise in mechanical design, development, and evaluation, supporting the construction of a landmark facility in the area. Job Title: Mechanical Systems Engineer
Location: Richland, WA
Pay Range: $30-$35/hour
 
What’s the Job?

• Contribute to the design and modification of mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and safety standards.
• Gather and analyze data to refine design elements and improve system performance.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary engineering teams to address mechanical-related questions and ensure integrated solutions.
• Apply engineering principles to research and design, supporting the development of components, systems, and materials.
• Provide support in developing presentations and reports to convey findings and recommendations effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or 4-5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, physicals (for construction site roles), and a background check that includes verification of employment and education.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Energy badge
• Foundational skills in mechanical engineering, with the ability to apply policies and standard procedures to resolve issues in project execution.
