What’s the Job?

  • Contribute to the design and modification of mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Gather and analyze data to refine design elements and improve system performance.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary engineering teams to address mechanical-related questions and ensure integrated solutions.
  • Apply engineering principles to research and design, supporting the development of components, systems, and materials.
  • Provide support in developing presentations and reports to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
 
What’s Needed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or 4-5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, physicals (for construction site roles), and a background check that includes verification of employment and education.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Energy badge
  • Foundational skills in mechanical engineering, with the ability to apply policies and standard procedures to resolve issues in project execution.
