This role plays a critical role in identifying risks and opportunities related to customer lab contracts, working closely with the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence to leverage data on McKesson's installed base of lab analyzers.  Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence to understand and analyze data on McKesson's installed base of lab analyzers.

Enrich this data with contract information to identify contract compliance risks and sales growth opportunities.  Provide valuable insights and recommendations to the lab sales and service teams based on contract-related data analysis. Develop initiatives and protocols to improve contract compliance, reducing customer and business risk.  Collaborate with business partners in lab, supplier partnerships, and field sales to align strategies and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enhance installed base data with contract information.  40%

  • Analyze internal and partner contract data, determining most appropriate data structures to merge information with installed base dataset. 
  • Leverage existing Salesforce.com platform capabilities. 
  • Establish processes to ensure ongoing update and accuracy of information.

2. Analyze data to develop tools that will allow identification of contract non-compliance risks. 30%

  • Collaborate with lab sales and service teams to build simple tools which will alert business to potential customer contract compliance issues.

3. Communicate compliance details, risks, and opportunities with sales and supplier partnership. Develop initiatives to improve compliance. 30%

4. Achieves Financial and Non-financial Objectives:

  • Execute plans to meet & exceed objectives.   

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Required Education/Training

  • Degree or equivalent experience.

Required Business Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.

Required Specialized Knowledge/Skills –

  • Proven experience in data analysis, modeling, and business intelligence, preferably in the lab equipment or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience -

  • Familiarity with lab contracts and the clinical laboratory industry is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Traditional office environment.
  • Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required.
