Senior Change Leader, Talent and Effectiveness

We are looking for a Senior Change Leader to join our Talent and Effectiveness team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training material in support of our Development Program and FSS Academy. This role is critical to building high-performing talent that drives Continuous Improvement and Program Management across our organization. As the Senior Change Leader, you will report to the Director of Business Process, Talent Effectiveness and be an integral part of driving our talent and development strategy.

Your Impact

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing effective learning experiences that deliver on our development program’s vision. You'll be contributing to accelerating our team’s effectiveness by creating engaging course content and activities that enhance knowledge acquisition and skills development. You will partner with FSS and Business Enablement leadership teams, subject matter experts and conduct independent content research to ensure business relevance and applicability of the material.

Your Accountability

Development Program

  • Design and develop learner-centered training program that will help our team achieve proficiency as project managers, change leaders and business process consultants while also building specialized growth objectives

  • Support ongoing evolution of the FSS Academy as a talent development engine for FSS

  • Design and develop digital learning materials, interactive modules, presentations, guides, and comprehensive training plans

  • Incorporate adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to ensure knowledge retention and application.

  • Collaborate with leadership and conduct talent assessments to determine appropriate training needs and define learning objectives to meet business goals and strategy

  • Demonstrates strength across several of our foundational skillset (collaboration, ability to influence, emotional intelligence, planning and organization, storytelling, communication, etc.) to be a role model and gain credibility as a content developer

  • Understand our service offering to ensure the training program remains engaging, modern and aligns with evolving business needs.

Deliver Training

  • Develop case-studies that resonate with our employees, leveraging advanced toolkit with real-life example from various business areas

  • Engaging energy and ability to deliver in-person or virtual training, with the use of various technologies and techniques that optimize learning experience

  • Builds credibility by sharing hands-on experience that shows understanding of content being presented, tools and methodology

Consultation

  • Ability to absorb and process large quantities of disparate information, synthesize quickly and connect dots across workstreams where appropriate 

  • Interpersonal and consulting skills – ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver practical solutions that drive results; a listener that seeks to understand multiple viewpoints; effective at influencing, facilitating, and problem solving

  • Ability to tailor communication style to work well with stakeholders at all levels in the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships across multiple teams and departments and collaborate with business leaders to execute plans

Measure Success

  • Drive adoption of tools and methods by reinforcing their value proposition through education

  • Ensure training is aligned with internal processes as it relates to project intake, tracking, measurement, and other team specific guidelines

  • Develop metrics to measure training effectiveness and understanding

  • Continuously improve instructional design methodologies and materials based on learner feedback and evolving industry standards.

Desired Skills

  • Advanced writing, storyboarding, and verbal communication skills

  • Polished presentation and visual design skills

  • Proven track record of results as a Change Manager/Leader (stakeholder engagement, communications, training, change agent network) and project manager

  • Ability to understand and identify the connections between skillset and strategic objectives

  • Ability to think through, organize and lead multiple projects and tasks concurrently

  • Ability to facilitate and communicate effectively in a hybrid environment

Additional Skills

  • Experience implementing and managing learning management system

  • Experience leading or managing small matrixed teams and experience leading projects across functional boundaries

  • Resourceful with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Ability think outside of the box with creative content and delivery

Degree, certification and experience

  • Degree, or equivalent, typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience (Adult Learning Instructional Design)

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (Black Belt) and/or Project Management Institute (PMP) certification is a plus

  • Familiar with ADDIE or SAM learning framework and other similar methodologies

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $105,200 - $175,300
