A Hospital in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Certified or Board Eligible Medical Dosimetrist to join its radiation oncology team. We are seeking a skilled Medical Dosimetrist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy treatment planning. Proficiency in using Varian shop Eclipse and Mosaiq R&V systems is essential for this role. While Radiation Therapist (RTT) certification is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.

Eclipse treatment planning experience
Good team working abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable in the areas of radiation physics, and radiation safety
High level critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Works independently, but in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.
Has working knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
Has the ability to interpret criteria and develop treatment plans as defined by protocols.
Expertise in the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to develop optimal treatment plans.

The facility provides a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location.
The Pay Range for this position is $100,000.00 - $175,000.00. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.
