Surgical Tech Labor and Delivery Full Time Nights Position Summary
Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for the procedures. Ensures all instruments are cleaned and sterilized and functioning properly. Assists anesthesiologist when blocks are required for surgery. Participates in department staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
THE SURGICAL TECH LABOR AND DELIVERY FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Education: Some college or vocational training required.
Minimum Experience: Up to 1 year of experience is required; 1 to 2 years of job-related experience is preferred.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: Certified Surgical Technology recognized by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS required
