Position Title: Inside Sales Specialist

Salary: $65,000-$80,000 per year

Hours: 7:00am-4:30pm (flexibility to start at 6:30am or 7:30am after training period)

QPS Employment Group is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support this great company’s existing customers and generate new business. This position involves managing customer relationships, handling product selection inquiries, and driving new sales opportunities through our Customer Relationship Management system.  Inside Sales Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage both new and existing customer projects, ensuring timely execution by attending APQP meetings.
- Utilize our internal Material Resource Planning (MRP) system to forecast customer demand and contribute to SIOP meetings.
- Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction with post-sale communication and relationship management, addressing any issues that arise.
- Maintain communication with current and past customers through webinars and updates on new products and services.
- Actively manage the CRM system to maintain customer databases, generate quotes, proposals, and track sales opportunities.
- Identify and qualify potential customers by following up on inbound and outbound leads.
- Handle sales inquiries, provide technical support, and engage in outbound cold calls and emails to generate new leads.
- Provide internal sales support for outside field sales within assigned territories.
- Analyze existing customer account data for quarterly reviews and manage blanket orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Conduct occasional travel to visit key accounts (up to 5% annually).
- Assist in training new employees on customer service and sales processes.

Inside Sales Specialist Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent skills and experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably with direct account management.
- Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects.
- Travel requirement: up to 5% annually.
