Our new Rockville location is tentatively scheduled to open in June 2025. Employees hired prior to the store opening will be required to train at an existing Wegmans location to gain valuable on-the-job experience. Employees will be asked to commute to and from the training location and will be compensated for additional mileage.

The off-site training will likely take place through May 2025. Training locations will be determined based on position and availability, but may include our Frederick, Germantown and Woodmore locations in Maryland, our Wisconsin Avenue location in Washington, D.C. and our Tysons Corner location in Virginia.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working in a grocery, retail and/or food service environment
  • Computer skills

  • Experience leading a team
  • Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters
