Responsibilities include:
- Â Â Advanced programming experience with Zeiss Calypso software and program R&R.
- Â Â Zeiss CMM experience with Vast RDS XXT scanning head or Keyance scanning equipment
- Proficient in computer skill and fluent in Microsoft Office tools (ie. Word, Excel, Power Point and Project, etc.
- Â Skilled in the use of basic measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gage, microscopes)
- Â Knowledge of and experience in how to design, set-up and use CMM fixtures as well as Plate layout inspection
- Â Supervise & Manage laboratory process, scheduling, input/output of product testing & conformance and ensure completion of task on time and to aggressive dynamic schedules.
- Maintain inspection documentation (written, electronic and photographic).
- Strong level of interpersonal/communication skills to work effectively with management, engineering, suppliers and customers.
- High level of problem-solving skills to identify/perform root cause analysis on dimensional, performance and testing issues and offer recommendations/direction for resolution.
- Ability to work and maintain a safe working environment – some manual lifting and manipulation of heavy objects required.
- Â Interpret engineering drawings & GD&T, specifications & notes, schematic diagrams and CAD models or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality standards.
- Coordinate and ensure the management of all lab equipment to proper standards for calibrations, certifications and maintenance.
- Oversee and manage the Gauge Control and Calibration process
- Â Select products for visual and dimensional inspection at specified stages in production process.
- Â Â Record inspection data as per Inspection Test Plans.
