Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for Staff Structural Analysis Engineers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located onsite in Clearfield, Utah. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment, by hand and by using the automated methods and procedures approved for the program. Ensuring that designs meet program requirements and are the lightest, lowest cost, and highest quality products consistent with schedule and budget objectives. May derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads and perform weight and stiffness optimization utilizing tools such as FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter and other software applications. Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 12 years’ experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis Or Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 10 years’ experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis. Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company. Preferred Qualifications: Structural Analysis Experience in any of the following areas: Airframe, Crew Systems, Subsystems, and/or Structural Integrity.
