Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer - Lead Interface Owner of On-Board Test Equipment (OBTE). This position will be on-site, located at our Defense Systems location in Roy, UT, and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get to Do: Lead Interface Owner of On-Board Test Equipment (OBTE) Interface artifacts and deliverables. Author OBTE Internal Interface Requirement Specifications (IRS) and Interface Design Descriptions (IDD) documents. Build OBTE Test Set Interface architecture, IDD, IRS. External Interface Point of Contact for external interfaces. Host and/or attend Interface Control Working Groups to ensure OBTE interfaces are documented. Work with several suppliers to ensure their interface deliverables are compliant and can be consumed as necessary. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need. Experience in writing interface documentation and interface requirements. Experience reading cable drawings, schematics, and source control drawings. Ability to decipher interoperability requirements for interface design. Self-Starter; Able to lead day-to-day interface activities with little to no direction. Experience working with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS). Preferred Qualifications: Electrical Engineer Background. Led interface development on a large-scale weapons system program. Authored System/Subsystem level interface artifacts. External-Facing; ability to work with many stakeholders and multidisciplinary collaboration. Experience working with suppliers. Led development of interface development on a large weapons system. MBSE Architecture (CAMEO) experience. Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) experience or Flight Test and Telemetry Experience.
