Principal Mechanical Engineer

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. The selected candidate will fill the role of Design Engineer for Support and Training (S&T) Support Equipment for Command and Launch (CLT) and the Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Missile. Responsibilities include the following: • Provide technical leadership in Design and Development of Support Equipment for the Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Segment on the Sentinel program. Drive technical quality and execution in support of major program events with an emphasis CDR's and Flight-test's. Ensuring execution of overall technical plan in alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Driving technical rigor into Engineering Review Boards (ERBs), and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) with Sentinel subcontractors, IWO partners and External Customers. Advise program technical leadership on program, schedule, and technical matters.
