Job Summary
Responsible for the development of the short and long-term Product Sales strategy for the State, Local, and Education (SLED) Vertical within the Public Sector for the West Division. Assists in developing go to market strategies and implements the annual tactical plan for the SLED sales channel to ensure the success of the West Division’s Product Sales programs and a positive customer experience. Monitors the progress of sales; reviews records and reports provided to senior management; and solicits employee feedback to drive product engagement and sustained adoption. Designs, promotes, and orchestrates experiences and reinforcement plans across multiple divisions/business units that strengthen product knowledge, enhance product advocacy, and ensure the success of the Company's product sales campaigns. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization’s business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of long-term sales effectiveness and engagement strategies that inform, educate and enhance the understanding of the Company’s products, services and experiences.
- Business leader and strategic influencer on the design of employee engagement events and interactions – brainstorming ideas and ensuring campaigns amplify the brand, drive product advocacy, sales effectiveness, and support the business strategy.
- Directly responsible for a sales team providing a comprehensive portfolio of telecommunications and technology services to State Government entities across the Western United States
- Responsible for ensuring compliance and consistency with all sales made on state contract vehicles, Erate, and various other Government regulated programs
- Interprets business strategy and develops plans, tactics and tools that align with the sales strategy activities and support sales campaigns.
- Responsible for incentives and other programs to achieve critical milestones to success.
- Oversees vendor management and selection – ensuring vendor align with Company values. Recommends changes as needed.
- Evaluates themes and trends across post-event feedback and recommends changes to sales effectiveness and employee engagement plans as needed.Â
- Partners closely with training teams for deployment of successful training curriculum and overall change management approach.Â
- Responsible to hire, onboard, develop and motivate Product Sales personnel across the department. Partners with finance and insights teams to review return on investment, impact analysis at performance level data for events, partners and campaigns.Â
- Oversees department budget and invoicing accuracy.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $158,730.00 - $264,550.00
Additional Range: This job can be performed in California with a Pay Range of $158,730.00 - $300,625.00

Targeted Commission: $80,000
Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
