Position Overview:
As our Development Associate, you'll be at the heart of the action, supporting our dynamic fundraising and donor engagement efforts. You'll work alongside our passionate team to drive initiatives that connect our medical facility with donors and make a lasting impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
💖 Donor Management:
  • Master our donor database to keep records sparkling and up-to-date
  • Build meaningful relationships with our donors and prospects
  • Collaborate on innovative donor engagement strategies

🎉 Event Planning:

  • Be the star of our fundraising events! Coordinate logistics, manage RSVPs, and provide on-the-ground support to make each event unforgettable. Collaborate with volunteers and craft eye-catching marketing materials that draw attendees in!

💡 Grant Research:

  • Jump into grant research and team up with the Executive Director to create compelling proposals. Stay ahead of deadlines and maintain clear records of our successes!

📊 Financial Collaboration:

  • Work closely with our accounting team to track fundraising finances and prepare insightful budget reports. Ensure accuracy and transparency across all records.

🔧 Administrative Support:

  • Be the backbone of our team! Manage logistics for meetings, draft important correspondence, and keep our filing system organized for easy access.

Education:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in development or fundraising is preferred. Familiarity with DonorPerfect or similar systems? Even better!
  • Skills:
    • Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail.
    • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
