Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a First shift Avionics Technician 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our E-2 Flight Operations. This role will be located in Saint Augustine, Florida. The selected candidate should perform tasks that are varied and moderately complex with limited supervision. The selected candidate must understand the importance of using discretion, latitude, and must have high integrity. Essential Functions: Installs and troubleshoots avionics systems wiring in aircraft in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. Support flight operations and avionics systems testing. Reads wiring diagrams and blueprints. May assist in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of lower-level employees. Routinely check work. Errors may be difficult to detect and would normally result in loss of customer business, material, or equipment to resolve. Obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of sensitive nature. We offer a 4/10 Monday through Thursday 6am - 4:30pm, with every Friday- Sunday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment.
