We are a vertically integrated manufacturer capable of supplying unmounted diode bars, packaged laser diodes, DPSS modules, laser diode drivers and complete DPSS laser systems. Our diode laser-based products have become industry standards and are used in a wide variety of commercial and military applications. Northrop Grumman - Cutting Edge Optronics (CEO) is looking for a highly motivated Microelectronic Technician. The Microelectronic Technician will perform operations associated with the assembly of laser diode electronic assemblies. All work takes place in a team-oriented cleanroom. Responsibilities are subject to change dependent upon your personal experience/strengths and specific needs of Cutting Edge Optronics. Responsibilities: Perform a variety of tasks related to the building of laser diode assemblies. Smooth metal surfaces or edges. Shape metal workpieces with hands and/or small tools. Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly. Solder parts or workpieces. Inspect parts for proper assembly. Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling laser diode electronic units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components. Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts as directed. Maintain production or processing equipment. Clean and maintain work area.
