St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Psychologist for their Organ Transplant Team.

Every pediatric transplant candidate and his or her family receive individualized attention to help prepare physically, emotionally and financially for the major issues involved in organ transplantation.

Responsible for performing evaluations, assessments, psychotherapy and consultation during the course of treatment for patients and their families. Is an excellent resource to medical staff, educators, etc. in the hospital and outside community.

 

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a resource and liaison to hospital staff and outside community.
  • Maintains designated targets for chart compliance and report turn around times.
  • Conducts and disseminates research in field of expertise.
  • Provides psychological clinical services to patients and their families.
