Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will manage HR policies and procedures, employee benefits administration, and daily HR-related tasks such as full cycling recruiting, learning and development, and employee assessment process. The newly remodeled offices create a welcoming and functional environment for the 240 employees and their clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
路 Reviews and documents compliance for training, continuing education, and work assessments
路 Recruits and facilitates the hiring of job applicants for open positions
路 Conducts background checks and other verifications
路 Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
路 Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to employee benefits, FMLA. ADA, and engagement and retention
路 Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
路 Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
路 Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
路 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
路 Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
路 Proficiency with learning the organization鈥檚 HRIS and talent management systems
路 Conflict resolution
路 Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Education and Experience:
路 Two years of HR experience required
路 Experience in a not-for-profit is a plus
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in HR, BA, or related field required
