Sr. Medical Assistant (OBGYN)

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Full-Time Registered or Certified Senor Medical Assistant for OBGYN Outpatient Office.  

• $2500 Sign on bonus eligible!

 Position Details:

• Day Shift: Monday-Friday (8am-5pm) – hours may vary
• NO weekends or Call
• Rooming patients, phlebotomy, point of care testing, OSHA standards
• Main location of position is 3009 N Ballas Rd Suite 360C St. Louis MO 63131 & once a week at 6261 Ronald Reagan Dr B19, Lake St Louis, MO 63367
• Travel is mandatory within OBGYN facilities and MOBAP
• Phlebotomy experience (plus but not required)
• Fetal Non-Stress Test experience (plus but not required)
• Some front duty responsibilities

Requirements:

• RMA / CMA
• CMS CMA or RMA through (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA)
• Must provide proof of MA Certification or Registration upon hiring

Role Purpose

Provides patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed professional. Performs select duties for the promotion of health in the care of patients and delivers care according to practice protocols and procedures. Serves as an experienced role model in a functional area within a practice, such as lab testing, OSHA/CLIA compliance, electronic health record management, specialty practice medical assisting, medical supplies management, or functional cross-training for other positions within the practice.
