Position Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist obtains diagnostic sonographic images for radiologist review. Responsible for all duties related to imaging such as: data management, physician order reconciliation, patient transport and result accountability.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Produces and evaluates images utilized to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of such images for the treatment of patients
2. Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety which are established by Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies
3. Skilled in abdominal, gynecological, pediatric, small parts, vascular and interventional radiology procedures/exams
4. Maintains practical knowledge of various ultrasound imaging equipment as well as PACS and RIS computer skills

Qualifications:
• American Registry, Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification • Pediatric Registry within 6 months of hire • Current Basic Life Support, AHA

Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift (40 hours per week), Mon-Fri 8a -4:30p, with occasional weekend work if needed.

Salary Range: Minimum 29.74 per hour - Maximum 47.58 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
