Rhino Medical Services is leading the charge identifying the best local, daily drive-in Medical Assistants (MAs) near Salt Lake City, UT available for a full-time contract position with one of the largest Urgent Care clinic systems in the nation!

We are seeking the best Medical Assistants with excellent patient care skills, great communication, and concierge level customer service. Think you might be a fit?

Opportunity Specifics:

• Clinical Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Assignment Dates: ASAP - August (possibility of extensions)
• Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday (8a - 5p) or (9a - 6p)
• Compensation: Competitive Weekly Pay

Medical Assistant Role & Responsibilities: 

• Greet and Room patients. 
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients.
• Prepare and label samples for laboratory testing.
• Obtain blood & urine samples, measure and record vital signs, maintain clean exam rooms. 
• Clerical responsibilities as necessary.
• Exhibit good clinical judgement within the scope of the role with or without the provider present. 
• Follow all clinical and clerical protocols per company policy. 
• Other associative duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements: 

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• 1 year of recent experience in clinical settings
• Current CPR or BLS
• Ability to drive-in daily to Salt Lake City, Utah
• A basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, reference tools, and appropriate clinical pharmacology for medical assistant practice scope.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems.
