Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Medical Report Expeditor to support our Veteran Affairs Operations.

This is a on Site position at our Leidos QTC Health Services. 4400 N. W. Loop 410, Suite 100. San Antonio, Texas

The Medical Records Expeditor is responsible for completing routine medical records office work such as scanning, organizing, and filing medical documents. Communicates with government agencies, regional offices, and Leidos QTC Health Services personnel to obtain and/or send medical records data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review the electronic case management system to identify outstanding reports and diagnostic results
    requiring follow-up
  • Communicate with medical offices and diagnostic facilities to verify attendance and obtain reports in a
    timely manner, following escalation workflow when appropriate
  • Upload diagnostic results received to the case management system
  • Appropriately process Date of First Draft (DFD) signed reports in the case management system
  • Prioritize all requests from the client to expedite delivery of a case
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)

  • High School diploma, or equivalent (GED)
  • 0 to 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a medical office and/or administrative position
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background
    investigation

Hours of operation:

This is a on Site position at our Leidos QTC Health Services. 4400 N. W. Loop 410, Suite 100. San Antonio, Texas 

Shift Schedule = Monday thru Friday  9:00AM to 5:30PM 

Training of 90 days with some flexibility - Monday thru Friday 7:00AM - 5:30PM window of time. 

* Probationary terms and conditions: Employment as a Medical Reports Expeditor will included successful completion of a 90-day probationary period during which you will be given objectives to achieve. This timeframe lets you assess your readiness for the position as well as allows Leidos QTC Health Services to determine your ability to successfully perform the job. You will be provided objectives, documentation, training and performance feedback during the probationary period as part of your assimilation to the role. After successfully completing the probationary period, you will be moved out of the probationary period status.

Pay and Benefits:

$17.20/hr.  - $18.06/hr.
