In this rewarding role, you will:
- Provide training, development and performance oversight to the team ensuring consistency of training and coverage at event locations Measure and track the performance of staff and effectiveness of training and other identified programs through testing and operational results recommending enhancements as needed
- Conduct research on travel and event related issues responding quickly and proactively in order to resolve in a timely manner
- Participate in the analysis of data, including data collection, interpretation and evaluation of results
- Collaborate with internal business partners to develop policies, procedures, workflow, and training materials which include course content, visual presentations, and training aids
- Manage the assignment of the team members to events to ensure optimal utilization
- Implement and train staff on new and/or revised policies, procedures and guidelines
- Establish and maintain business relationships both internally and externally
- Promote positive employee relations and resolve personnel issues though conflict resolution
- Identify performance and development needs through regular consultation with leadership
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
You must have:
- 3+ years of experience as an LVN/LPNÂ
- Must possess a valid, current, unemcumbered LPN/LVN license to practice as a nurse by the state Board of Nursing
- Ability to apply for, and complete requirements to meet the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) to operate across the U.S.
- Graduation from a state approved and accredited licensed practical nurse/licensed vocational nurse diploma or certificate from a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegieate Nursing Education (CCNE) required
- A bachelor’ degree with minimum of 4 years relevant leadership experience
- BLS for Healthcare Provider with the American Heart Association certification required for hire
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office including SharePoint, Excel (Pivot tables/Vlookups)
- Proven analytical and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and be self-motivated
- An ability to effectively manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, with strong attention to detail
- An ability to solicit input from others and transition concepts into strategic, tangible plans, products and services
And you must:
- Reside within or local to San Antonio, TX
- Be able to work flexible schedule and travel up to 30% of the time
- Be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
