Certified Medical Assistant- Seasonal/ PRN

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

In a clinic setting, under Physician SMOPs, you will provide patient assessment, including physical examination and First Aid and Basic Life Support including airway management, ventilator support, circulatory and shock management, clinical assessment, orthopedic care, medication administration, obstetrics, medical care. Assessment of patient vital signs with manual and electronic diagnostic tools. Patient treatments, such as wound care, IM, PO and Subdural medication administration. Proper Charting of Medical Treatments. Clinical supply inventory. Maintaining a clean and septic clinical environment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Must be currently certified or have received a course completion from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program/ EMT course/ Navy Corpsmen/ LVN program.
• Must not have any medical license or certification revoked by any state agency.
• Must have good communication and leadership skills.
• Must be able to perform duties listed in the job description.
• Texas drivers’ license required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

• Performs other duties as assigned, needed, or required
• This position may have potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, other potentially infectious materials and communicable diseases.
• Reports to Safety and Health Services Supervisor (Chief of EMS).
