Job Summary:

Responsible for the analysis of examination reports, quality reviews, and data to ensure clinical compliance. Provides analysis for proper utilization of MEP to ensure timely and accurate completion of medical reports. 

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the quality reviews of disability examination reports to ensure compliance with clinical and contractual requirements
  • Prepare analysis for proper utilization of provider portal to ensure timely and accurate completion of medical reports
  • Provide interdepartmental mentorship on VA Rating and procedural requirements
  • Participate in special projects related to quality improvement initiatives

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Document quality issues and performance measures for management review
  • Analyze data and observations and write result summaries to validate deviations from existing standards
  • Recommend modifications to existing standards, methods, or procedures
  • Interact with field personnel and supervisors
  • Review, analyze, and implement processes and report trends to promote customer satisfaction
  • Conduct internal quality assurance of providers (medical professionals)
  • Compile strategic information and develop reports to monitor quality effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance and understanding of quality requirements
  • Manage special projects and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Mentor and train team members and provide resource support with daily tasks
  • Conduct conference calls and refresher training with providers
  • Respond to compliance issues
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses) 

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience
    • Requires a minimum of 5 years experience working in the the Veterans Benefits Administration adjudication process to include review of disability examination reports
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
    • Requires a minimum of 3 years of U.S. residency - OR - U.S. citizenship
    • Requires the ability to obtain a PIV Card ("Personal Identity Verification" credential)

 

Pay and Benefits:

Annual Pay Range: $86,000 - $115,000 + up to 8% bonus eligibility
