Engineering Technician

Our client,a leader in autonomous vehicles, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Operation’s Team supporting the development of various electronic hardware. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm, innovation, and a self-starter attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: San Carlos, CA

Pay Range: $40-45/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Assist engineers during the development of new products to optimize the manufacturing process.
• Accurately assemble and test a variety of electronic hardware from engineering prototypes through short run production.
• Perform as a Quality Delegate, inspecting work from other technicians in the Engineering Lab.
• Carry out assignments in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively and maintain a consistent track record of attendance and prompt arrival at work.

What's Needed?

• AS degree with 1 year of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Technical training, such as soldering, trade school, or on-the-job training classes (preferred).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Proficient using standard assembly tools and hands-on lab experience.
• IPC-610, IPC-620, or JSTD-10 certification is a plus.
