Job Summary:
Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes claimant information. Uses software to schedule claimant appointments and document pertinent information. Delivers exceptional customer service at all customer touch points.
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Responsible for scheduling and following up on claimant appointments
- Triage of all cases in accordance with documented triage procedures
- Maintain integrity and organization of case files
- Data entry of claimant information, appointments, case files etc.
- Maintain good claimant and physician relations
- Medical report expediting in accordance with medical report calling procedures
- Accountable for sending out appointment letters to claimants and physicians
- Contact physicians to obtain reports, accurate tracking of reports, follow-up for missing information
- Computing mileage for reimbursement checks
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Competencies:
- Organization and multi-tasking: ability to organize, plan, and coordinate multi-tasks with a high sense of urgency and follow through
- Works well with people; team player
- Possess strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Medical: Working knowledge of medical terminology
Ideally, you will have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-1 years of relevant experience
- Organization and multitasking: the ability to organize, plan, and coordinate multi-tasks with a high sense of urgency and follow through
- Medical: Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in a medical and/or insurance-related service industry
- Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
Pay and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $17.95 - $18.90

This role may fall under the Service Contract Act (SCA), a federal law which provides for a U.S. Department of Labor-prescribed minimum prevailing rate of pay and certain benefit levels.
