QTC is seeking a Medical Reports Expeditor to support our Veteran Affairs Operations in San Dimas, CA

What part would you play in this role?
As a Medical Reports Expeditor, you will be responsible for completing routine medical reports office work such as scanning, organizing, and filing medical documents. Communicate with medical providers, government agencies, regional offices, and QTC personnel to obtain and/or send medical reports data.
This is a remote work opportunity if you live within commute distance of San Dimas, CA for occasional meetings/trainings.
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Review internal case management system to identify outstanding reports and diagnostic results.
- Communicate with medical offices and diagnostic facilities to obtain reports.
- Review exam reports sent over from medical providers to ensure all tests ordered have been completed
- Upload diagnostic results received to the case management system Coordinate with medical providers as needed for clarification of reports
- Prioritize all requests from the client to expedite delivery of a case.
- Proactively notify Quality Assurance (QA’s) regarding the availability of uploaded and signed reports for high priority cases.
- Obtain late reports an diagnostics by phone, email, fax and/or QTC portal
- Validate CPT codes
- Answer incoming calls and scheduling and rescheduling patients
You must have:
- High School diploma, or equivalent (GED) + 2 years of experience in lieu
- 0 to 1 years of medical reports and healthcare experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with medical coding and documentation
- Excellent understanding of basic medical terminology.
- Ability to recognize diagnostics
Typical Day:
- Monday-Friday 9:00-5:30pm
Starting pay is $18.75 with a 3% raise after completing training.

Experience
Required- Less than 1 year(s): Administrative experience (Medical office administrative experience preferred).
