CT Technologist, Full Time, Days

Performs computed tomography exams and procedures with maximal image quality, patient safety, and comfort while maintaining lowest possible radiation exposure.  Exams and procedures include all parts of vasculature structures and organ systems.

Required Skills

• Technical skills in computed tomography
• Knowledge of all vasculature and organ systems
• Knowledge of all CT guided invasive procedures
• Skilled in use of contrast agents
• Basic patient care and assessment techniques
• Knowledgeable in radiation physics, radiation biology, radiation protection, and medical terminology.
• High degree of accuracy in positioning and radiation exposure techniques

Required Experience

Required:

• State of California CRT
• ARRT certification in CT
• Venipuncture certification and/or documentation of training
• BLS for Healthcare Provider issued through American Heart Association
• Clinical training – Two (2) years’ experience scanning in CT
• La City fire card within 6 months of employment 

Preferred:

• Three (3) years’ experience scanning in CT
