Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead shop floor activities for one of our innovative manufacturing clients that is rapidly growing. You will help lead assembly and integration. This role oversees daily work execution, employee hiring, build schedules, and operational efficiency, with a focus on safety, quality, and cost management. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams such as SIOP, Material Management, Quality, HR, Program Management, EHS, Finance, and Operational Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing operations, managing both salaried and hourly teams.
- Ensure completion of customer and business requirements while driving operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans, policies, and objectives.
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Build team capabilities through leadership development and coaching.
- Oversee resource allocation, including investments in technology and equipment to drive operational excellence.
Essential Qualifications:
- 15+ years of manufacturing or quality experience in Aerospace, including 10+ years in leadership roles.
- Strong background in composites manufacturing with expertise in secondary bonding.
- Proficient in SIOP, MRP, ERP, and MES systems.
- Proven leadership in managing complex manufacturing processes across multiple shifts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100 requirements.
