Our client in the autonomous mobility industry is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Base Operations team supporting all fleet-level maintenance, repair, and upgrade operations. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, cross-functional teamwork skills, and exhibit high attention to detail and safety acumen, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $40.54 per hour
What's the Job?
- Create and update technical documentation for service remove/replace and vehicle maintenance procedures, diagnostics/troubleshooting and wiring harness information, software programming and post-repair bring-up, fleet upgrade and rework procedures, technical service bulletins, first responder documentation, and vehicle owner's manual.
What's Needed?
- 2-5 years experience as a technical writer or 5+ years experience as Automotive Repair or Diagnostic Technician
- Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office suite
- Experience with topic-based writing concepts
- Markup language experience (HTML, XML, or DITA XML)
- Ability to multi-task and manage workload to achieve project deliverable deadlines
