** Full-time Position  ** Annual Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 (DOE) 

Under limited supervision, the Director of Staff Development (DSD) RN effectively assesses training needs;  plans, implements and provides in-service education and department specific new team member orientation; and ensures all medical staff are trained accordingly to provide care in accordance with our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” In addition, the DSD-RN assists in educating and treating residents.

As a member of the nursing management team, s/he will provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis and may cover up to 8 weekends over the course of the year. S/he will be able to take alternate weekdays off when providing weekend coverage.

To be successful in the role, you would have: 

  • Completion of Accredited Registered Nursing Program (RN)
  • Current RN license in Applicable State
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have a DSD certification per state regulation
  • Current or prior Skilled Nursing or Senior Care experience highly desirable
  • Excellent clinical observation and assessment skills
  • Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members.
  • Minimum of two years of RN experience or one year as a nursing supervisor
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
