Under direct supervision, the Maintenance Associate performs daily and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment; performs plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, masonry, painting, mechanical, and carpentry work. This entry-level position serves as an apprentice for Maintenance Technicians Level II will provide Security Guard duties during the second half of the evening shift. Security Guard promotes and maintains a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, team members, and the community. Provides general security in the buildings and surrounding areas of the community according to the established standards and within the assigned areas of responsibility.Â

Monday-Friday, 7 am to 3 pm
This position may require evenings.
Pay:
$24-28/hr depending on experienceÂ
To be successful in the role, you would have:
- Basic skills to assist in safely repairing plumbing, electrical or other machinery used in the completion of tasks as a maintenance associateÂ
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Problem-solving skills
- Communications skills
- Time management skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSÂ
Education –
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience/Training –
- Up to one year of experience in a related field of building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Prior Security guard experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations –
Prior security guard experience preferred.- Guard card preferred.
- Attendance at a technical training institute or program is preferred.
