The Utility/Floor Tech position provides the cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors clean.
Essential Functions:
* Floor person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning.
* Responsible for using safety measures in work areas.
* Duties also include assisting the Building/Account Lead with special projects including but not limited to, setups, breakdowns, move in/ move outs).
* Floor Tech must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Responsibilities
- Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Â
- Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floorsÂ
- Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatmentÂ
- Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleanersÂ
- Miscellaneous duties as assignedÂ
QualificationsÂ
- Must be 18 years of age or olderÂ
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Customer Service ExperienceÂ
- 1 yr of similar work experience
