Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1752.21 - $1919.97
CT Technologist needed asap for 13 weeksShift: Monday 7am-730pm, Tuesday 7am-730pm and Wednesday 9am-930pmRequired: ARRT certification in CT and New Mexico State licenseEDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited radiologic technology program.CERTIFICATION/ certification in CT required and New Mexico State licenses required. New hires will be required to have ARRT certified in CT within 6 months of being hired if they have attended an accredited CT program. BLS certification issued through American Heart Association is required within one month of hire date. IV certification preferred.EXPERIENCE: Minimum one-year radiographic experience required and 1 year CT experience preferred.SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipmentKnowledge of advanced cross sectional anatomy and physiologyKnowledge of radiographic positioningKnowledge and understanding of Medical terminologyBasic computer skillsMust be proficient in starting IV’s.ENVIRONMENT:- Bloodborne pathogen CExposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifts, positions, pushes and or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 pounds on a regular basis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifts, positions, pushes and or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
SKILLS:
Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment
Knowledge of advanced cross sectional anatomy and physiology
Knowledge of radiographic positioning
Knowledge and understanding of Medical terminology
Basic computer skills
Must be proficient in starting IV's.
