CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Gather tools and fixtures to prepare the program
- Run first-piece production and ensure it meets specifications
- Submit the first part to the QC Lab for inspection approval
- Retain the approved first piece at the machine center as a reference until the job is complete
- Make adjustments as needed during production
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements For CNC Machine Operator:
- High school diploma or GED with three months of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents and communicate effectively with team members
- Strong problem-solving abilities and flexibility to interpret various instruction
- Frequent standing; regular use of hands and arms; occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 50 pounds frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds
