Position Overview The position of Research & Resolution Associate (RRA) is responsible for the full cycle pursuit of investigating and resolving open invoices and credits as assigned by the Billing Supervisor. This position will conduct extensive research in multiple software platforms to resolve outstanding balances in accounts receivable. The RRA must effectively communicate and coordinate with direct co-workers, employees at branch locations, and the representatives of commercial and state agencies. The position will promptly respond to escalated inquiries and requests related to open account balances.Essential Job Functions• Identify and prioritize outstanding balances based on research and reports provided by RRMs.• Research and resolve open invoices and credits by utilizing company software and tools.• Recognize and communicate trends in problematic accounts and payers to management.• Work all monthly-predetermined balances through adjudication and resolution.• Document all efforts to resolve balances utilizing designated software and reports.• Build and maintain effective relationships with Aveanna team members and representatives of commercial and state payers relevant to your open balances.• Review each payer’s specific guidelines (rates, filing/appeal deadlines, forms, etc.) as needed.• Promptly reply to inquiries made by Aveanna employees regarding your assignments.Requirements• High school diploma is required• Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel and the internetPreferences• Undergraduate Degree Preferred• Customer service experience PreferredOther Skills/Abilities• Must be able to adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times• Analytical Problem Solving Skills• Strong attention to detail• Effectively manage multiple priorities• Ability to work well in a team environment• Deadline Driven• Time Management• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations• Strong commitment to excellence• Quick-thinking and astute decision making skills• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution• Excellent organization and communication skillsEnvironment• Performs duties in an office environment during agency operating hoursOther Duties• Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
