JOB OVERVIEW

• Job Title: Physician Family Practice
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Vashon, WA
• Service Setting: Outpatient Community Health Center
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: As soon as credentialed, 3 months with the possibility to extend
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM; Wednesday, 10:00 AM 7:00 PM (8-hour workday with 1-hour unpaid lunch) PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Newborns to Geriatrics
• Patient Volume/Census: Up to 18 patients per day (may vary due to cancellations)
• Case Mix: General family medicine, including walk-in/acute care and chronic disease management FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Epic
• Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient clinic equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Onsite pediatrician, mental health therapists, dietitians
• Support Staff Available: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, local health care administrator
• Reason for Coverage: Locum coverage need PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Credentialing Timeline: 2-3 weeks COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Rate: TBD
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (Flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging provided) REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• General family medicine procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
• Experience in community health settings preferred JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Washington State Medical License required (will not consider non-licensed candidates)
• Certifications: Board Certified in Family Medicine, Active WA DEA, BLS, ACLS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required, must have experience with Epic EMR and a clean background (no malpractice cases)
• Other Qualifications: Experience working in community health settings preferred, interest in serving vulnerable populations; Spanish or Russian speakers preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide family medicine care in an outpatient community health center setting
• Conduct patient evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Administer immunizations, preventive care services, and minor procedures
• Collaborate with support staff including medical assistants, mental health therapists, and dietitians
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and productivity expectations
• Attend a one-week onsite orientation, expected to begin patient care by day three
