TIRE TECHNICIAN / UTILITY PERSON:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Your work will be both in house and at customer locations pressing tires for internal customers and other departments. You will conduct routine maintenance on tire press equipment to prevent breakdowns and be a key figure to back up multiple roles in the parts department. You’ll learn how our parts inventory works, how to pick and pull orders, and ship and receive parts as well as other cleanup projects and help maintain and put away tire inventory and stock orders.

You’ll also help us build and develop a parts delivery revenue stream by providing an onsite delivery service to our customers and technicians.

As we grow and develop more of the business this role will grow into a secondary full time field service tire tech, so every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Two years of tire pressing experience and a mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record and the ability to tow a trailer.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move at least 75 lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to pick orders and manage inventory.
  • Ability to operate a forklift. (Training is available)

 

Compensation: $19.97-25/hr (Depending on Experience)
