About The Position

A clinic in Washington is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in child and adolescent care for a 240-day locum tenens assignment starting 06/02/2025. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care for children and adolescents, including developmental behavioral evaluations and testing. Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents 

• Perform developmental behavioral assessments and testing 

• Diagnose and treat various mental health conditions in young patients 

• Develop and implement treatment plans 

• Manage medication regimens when appropriate 

• Provide counseling and therapy sessions 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families 

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR 

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures 

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care 

• Handle both new and returning developmental behavioral patients


Additional Information: 

• Washington state NP license required
