Assignment Duration: 10/31/2025 - 1 Year (Potential to convert to FTE)

Rate Range: $20 to $24/hr
Schedule:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Overtime: May be requested.
  • Onsite: Yes (may include weekend work).

Position Overview:
Working under close supervision, the Maintenance Technician will assist in monitoring building system operations, performing small repairs, and conducting daily maintenance tasks. This role utilizes various trade skills, complies with safety regulations, and responds promptly to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily rounds, logging meter numbers, and inspecting fire extinguishers.
  • Perform plumbing repairs, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical tasks.
  • Assemble furniture and perform locksmith tasks as required.
  • Inspect and maintain lighting systems, replacing bulbs and cleaning fixtures.
  • Perform general preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and industrial kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Complete maintenance and repair records and review assigned work orders.
  • Order materials and supplies to complete tasks as needed.
  • Provide vendor escorts and respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role, such as handyman or customer service positions.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and small-scale repairs.
  • Industrial kitchen experience is helpful.
Skills:
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate hand tools effectively.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lbs or more.

Key Details:
Background Check Package: CBRE Safety-Specific Package (includes drug test).
Bill Rate: $35.30/hour.

Typical Day:
  • Conduct small repairs and move furniture.
  • Perform plumbing repairs and inspections.
  • Use ladders and perform daily maintenance rounds.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Customer service.
  • Experience with basic tools.
