What will your compensation be?:$26.00 per hour with CDL
When does this adventure begin?:This role is posted for our spring/summer 2025 season!
What will you do in this job?:Uses company transportation assets to move guests and cargo in a safe, friendly and timely manner.
Drivers conduct and coordinate basic maintenance on company vehicles and maintain records in
accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation and company standards
- Conduct pre and post operation maintenance on assigned vehicle daily. Annotate issues correctly
- Operate shuttles along assigned routes, reporting changes or challenges to the coordinator
- Coordinate and communicate with guest service, group coordination and marine staffs to ensure that
guests receive the best possible service and important information is shared throughout the company - Maintains records in accordance with company, state and DOT requirements regarding vehicle
maintenance, driver activities and traffic incidents
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsement
- Knowledge of Alaska and Seward history, geography, and standard attractions. Familiarity with the
Alaska Collection products - Excellent guest/customer service skills including speaking with guests, assisting them in solving their
problems, and dealing with angry or disappointed guests in a positive way - The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- The employee must be able to work in harsh weather conditions for long hours on a variable schedule
- 2 year’s experience
