Opportunity

Administer, formulate, and implement engineering orientated activities required to provide the necessary support for the Arkansas Faucets Operation facilities.
To support all aspects of KSMS Tier I, II, III and IV achievement goals and objectives with resources necessary to complete all levels.  The Supervisor is to ensure all areas they manage are implementing and sustaining all initiatives of KSMS safety standards.  The individual needs to ensure that their areas of responsibility are always operating under the absolute safest working environment for its associates and their activities

Specific Responsibilities

•To support the Production facilities for Arkansas Faucet Operations in the areas production constraints and/or limitations in the areas of bill of materials, deviations, line layout, tooling and fixturing for efficient and on-time product build and delivery.
•Support the facilities as required through contact with vendors to ensure the quality of product being received and produced match that supplied by Engineering standards and specifications.
•Support all Global Faucet initiatives in the areas of Kaizen, Quality, efficiency, cost reductions, delivery, safety and performance.
•As required, provide specialized support to the areas of Plating and PVD based on current process analysis for the improvement of efficiency and absorption as well as the reduction of scrap value.
•Support Global Faucets and other Kohler Organizations through conception, development and release of new products and technologies in the Arkansas Faucet Operations.
•Assist with all other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor or Arkansas Faucet Operations Management.

Skills/Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering) with experience in the manufacturing environment preferred 1+ year of work experience in an Engineering Department, can include co-op and internship experience.
•Ability to develop, analyze and implement corrective actions to improve/correct manufacturing operations.
•Proficient in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP is a plus. Experience with drafting programs is also a plus.
•Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various levels of the organization.


The salary range for this position is $73,400 - $92,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.  Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
