Our client in the facilities management industry is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Commercial Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance team supporting the assigned buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Commercial Maintenance Technician
Location: Smyrna, TN
Pay Range: $26-$28/hr.
Shift:Â 6am-2pm
What's the Job?
- Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management.
- Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 8-10 years experience required.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
