Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelorā€™sĀ degree from an accredited nursing school.

Additional requirements include:

  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.

Ā 

  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.

Ā 

  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.

Ā 

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ā 

  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Ā 

  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
