Job Description:
Position: Scientist
Location: Somerset, NJ
Type: Full-time, Onsite
Duration: 3-6 months
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM


We are seeking a Scientist to join our team in performing routine analysis of finished pharmaceutical products and raw materials. This position involves analytical testing, stability studies, and laboratory investigations in a cGMP-compliant environment.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine analysis of finished products and raw materials.
Test stability samples under various ICH conditions.
Conduct assays, dissolution, hardness, water content, and content/blend uniformity tests.
Perform analytical testing of excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) using wet chemistry techniques in accordance with compendial monographs.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UPLC, KF, and dissolution and hardness testers.
Follow internal methods, SOPs, procedures, and regulatory guidelines for testing.
Conduct laboratory investigations using TrackWise and perform OPEX activities, data trending, and SOP revisions as needed.
Collaborate with other scientists to ensure timely project completion and support lab operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or Pharmaceutics (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience supporting pharmaceutical product development.
Proficiency with instrumentation techniques including HPLC, GC, UPLC, FTIR, UV, KF, and wet chemistry testing.
Strong understanding of GMP and ICH regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong mathematical and reasoning abilities.
Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

About the Role:
The Scientist will report to the Quality Control and Analytical Product Development team and will support pharmaceutical manufacturing activities. Responsibilities include in-process testing, finished product testing, stability sample analysis, and regulatory compliance.
